When survival or pain versus pleasure issues are triggered by stress and difficulty, we can inadvertently retreat into our reptilian brain responses which might best be summed up as, 'Me! Me! Me!' Dill helps us cool down this reaction dynamic by ushering us up into the calm and collected alternative thinking center that exists at the top of our skulls. From this expanded place we can examine situations from a more objective, calm and inclusive point of view.
