Ragged Robin Lychnis flos-cuculi

Known also as Cuckoo Flower and Thunder Flower, this is a very dramatic Flower.  On Omey it grew abundantly in several pastures where the cows were not grazing.  With its wild pink petals carving exotic architectural shapes against the green grasses, it struck a bold and beautiful note.
