PHOENIX RISING

One Green Hope garden of great transformative energies has been the Venus Garden. In keeping with its annual revelations of greater light, this garden has gone through many name changes during its nine years. First named the Eight Garden during the 1993 season, it then became known as the Illuminated Eight Garden during the following season and then was known as the Venus Garden for a number of years. In 2000, the garden was called Phoenix Rising.

Not surprisingly, the theme of Phoenix Rising was one of fire and rebirth. The garden was composed of concentric rings of orange- and flame-colored Flowers moving towards a column of Torch Flowers in the center.

Snapdragon

In addition to Snapdragon, many varieties of Calendulas, Salmon Osteospermum, Cosmos Bright Lights, Nasturtiums, French Marigolds, Poppies and Serafina Dahlias joined the Torch Flowers in a display of flame colored Flowers. A veining of seven rows of purple flowers shot out from the center of the garden in a flame of a different sort.

Another early summer view, note the ray of purple Flowers culminating in Mehera Marigolds at the garden's edge.

Batchelor Button and Heliotrope

Batchelor Button and Heliotrope were two of the beauties in the purple rows.

The Angels had us tie twine above each of these purple rows. When we put up the twine, we thought purple morning glories were going to climb along this twine and echo the purple flowers below but it was to be feathers tied to these strands which danced in the wind above the garden.

Feathers

The Angels directed us where to hang each feather.

Everywhere we went during the summer we were gifted with feathers. Often they dropped right from the skies into our hands. We received contributions from many bird friends, including woodpeckers, bluejays, crows, chickadees, turkeys, pigeons, sea gulls, ducks and geese. Every feather we were given was hung in this garden. Echoing this generosity of feathers dropping from the skies, many of you sent us feathers. Eventually we had feathers from all over the world. The rainbow of feathers fluttering above this sea of Flowers was a beautiful sight.

By mid-summer, there began to be a great many feathers in this garden.

The birds' involvement was a great blessing, though a mysterious one. Eventually the birds told us that the electromagnetic stresses on Earth were affecting them particularly. They wanted to support the transmutation of this build-up which the Venus Garden, specifically this incarnation as "Phoenix Rising," represented. "We want to help, but we too need your help," was their message.

Echoing this message from the birds, it appeared that most people's lives also were going through a time of burning as well. We knew the burning was a fire of love, purifying all that was not essential in our lives. This didn't make it a less complicated time for those of us who found our personal lives on fire. We tried to encourage ourselves and all who called, and were grateful to have Flower Essences to offer and to take ourselves. Eventually we received more information about this garden and this time of burnng.

We were told that at the close of the season, there would be a shift from fire to rebirth. We were asked to make an Essence from the garden during this transformation called "Phoenix Rising." These directions comforted us. It was wonderful to know that new life would rise from the ashes of all the fires.

After weeks of a beautiful but complicated dance of Flowers and bowls of water filled with Flower Blossoms from all of the Flowers growing in this garden, the Phoenix Rising Essence was born on September 20, 2000. Here is what the Angels have said about this Essence:

"The promise of the firebird and of this precious Essence is that you are not alone in your suffering. You also are not in a wasteland of purposeless burning, but in a fire of purification, which takes you to a new life and an experience of greater closeness with your creator.

These fires burn the strangers from your heart. What are these strangers but all things which are not one with your creator and your true self? This is the housecleaning you have asked for and have been given. It can be painful work but it is worth the pain. Your willingness to be housecleaned of everything your creator sees as unnecessary, not what you see as unnecessary, makes all the difference. A new life awaits you. Let these fires bring their gifts and you will be set free. Let this Essence ignite, soothe, comfort and restore.

This Essence supports the purification process in the most harmonious of ways. When your system needs a little more burn to get rid of a big piece of illusion, Phoenix Rising helps to accomplish this. When you need a tangible buffer during turbulence, Phoenix Rising can serve in this capacity. When you need uplift, currents moving you into an updraft of hope and peace and acceptance, reach for this Essence.

Phoenix Rising carries all birds' wisdom of overview and conscious connection with the beloved creator. It carries all birds' confidence that you can and will sail home to the full realization of who you are. Phoenix Rising also carries the firebird's knowledge that fire purifies even as it seems to destroy. It carries the essential firebird truth that what is most precious can never be lost to fire. It knows that the fire of God's love is necessary to find this most precious treasure of all; your eternal self."

I AM Life reborn. I AM pure love found again in your heart. I AM everything you ever looked for and more.
