Our romance with God can sometimes feel like a kidnapping.  We think riding off into the sunset together sounds like a good idea, but when we actually get on the horse, we find ourselves feeling saddle sore or worse.  Is this guy for real?  Are we going in the right direction?  Does it really require quite so much fiery drama?  Can we have a day in charge of the map?  Is this really God’s idea of romance?
