After this kind of traumatic and abusive experience, it is difficult to avoid a reaction of damaged self-esteem in the lonely place of, “I’m FINE without anyone else.”  It is challenging to re-find the bead on a genuine experience of our value, BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE!
