Shipping Information

We ship primarily by US Mail and UPS. In the last year, we have begun to send most orders by US Mail rather than UPS, though we are happy to send your order by your preferred carrier. Just let us know what works for you. We made this switch to the mail because of the escalating cost of UPS and the extra fees they tag onto every order. We continue to offer Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air or Express Mail. Charges for these services are the exact cost of shipping and we can let you know what that is going to be before we send the order.  All in all, we are happy to sort through how best to send your order to you.  Don’t hesitate to call us to discuss this.

My favorite shipping moment of the past year came one day when I had to take a large pile of packages to a post office in another town than Meriden. As the postmistress at the counter picked up our Flower covered packages, she kept holding each package up to her ears. Finally she said to me, “Why do I hear singing when I handle these packages?” I had met this lovely woman before and knew of her great love for Flowers so I just said, “Flowers talk to me and I think they must talk to you too.” And she gave me the most lovely smile as she kept listening to each box!
