DOCTRINE OF SIGNATURE

Nature is generous and forthcoming. Nature offers us a full medicine chest.  The signatures of the plants are the visual descriptions of the goods in the medicine chest. The phrase doctrine of signature expresses the truth that plants look like their healing purpose. As you read the descriptions of the different Flower Essences in our Collections, I will sometimes refer to the Flower's signature and talk about how the configuration of the blossoms, the Flower's geometry or color, the branches of the plant or its leaves reveal the Flower's healing purpose, its signature so to speak. Within most Flower Essence descriptions, you will find photographs of the Flower to see how often a Flower’s vibrational purposes match its appearance. 

Snapdragon is a great Flower to look at to begin to see this correlation. Snapdragon Flower resembles a head with a petal mouth that opens and shuts.  This signature indicates Snapdragon’s vibrational information for the mouth, jaw, teeth, and cranial plates of the body. A stalk of Snapdragon also correlates to the spinal column in its appearance and indicates Snapdragon’s connection to overall health, vitality, and the alignment of all seven chakras.
