The Staff at Green Hope Farm
|
|
This is Lynn Tidman. Here she is as a schoolgirl in Bermuda. Now she lives on a farm in Vermont with a happy crew of animals. She is the scribe of all the labels. We call her our "Lady of the Labels." Lynn does the Flower Essence runs to Bermuda. She lives with her husband George, two donkeys named Cooper and Hollis, and a flock of chickens. Photos of Lynn's animal friends can be found in the Animal Wellness collection section of our site.

Teddy Grobe

This is Teddy Grobe with her brother and some of her beloved animal friends at her childhood home, a beautiful farm called Wolf's Neck. It was a blissful childhood on Casco Bay, Maine broken up by the occasional jaunt to Europe with her doting parents. (Note the other photo, of Teddy enjoying herself in Venice.) Teddy has retired from her job here but she still joins us for meditation each day so we consider her still part of the crew! She has four children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She still loves to travel, especially to Maine, Hawaii and FRANCE. A photo of the matriach of Teddy's poodle clan, Wavey Gravy, graces the Animal Wellnness Collection section. Presently Teddy and her husband Malcolm live with poodles Muffin and Curly.

This is me, Molly. The night before this picture was taken, I slept with curlers in my hair. Can you tell? Exactly. This is probably why it was almost the last time I dressed up or curled my hair. I live at Green Hope Farm with my husband Jim, my children Elizabeth, Emily, and William and three cats and two dogs. My son Ben has graduated from college and is on to a world of adventures. We have tried to convince him it wouldn't infringe on his lifestyle to carry a beeper so we could call him 24/7 with our questions. Needless to say, we are (sort of) handling our technology glitches without him. Ben, if you are surfing this web site, please call home!

Riley and MayMay are the farm golden retrievers. While they are older than when these photos were taken, they remain just as full of mischief. They spend their days in the office keeping us to a lunch schedule that includes taking them for a walk. Mud remains a major component of almost every adventure with them!

Here is Bella, one of two resident black cats, checking out the goldfish pond. When Bella and her brother Jake were tiny kittens, they were found abandoned in a hollow tree by a beloved Green Hope Farm friend. Susan Millard drove them all the way from Rhode Island up to their new home here at the farm. There is a picture of Jake in the Animal Wellness Collection part of the Web site, lying next to William in the grass.

Ben Sheehan & Jeff Cedeno

Just a candid shot of Jeff Cedeno and Ben Sheehan working hard in the rose garden. We strive to be the best-dressed garden staff in America. Frankly, I think we qualify!

Beloved of all Cats, Dogs, Elementals and of course all Humans and Angels here at the farm, Patricia Wiltse lives with her cat Beardo in an Elemental haven three miles across town. Patricia is the main person on the phones, keeping meticulous track of orders in process and all call backs. She also organizes our inventory and generally orchestrates the flow of things moving through this office. She is the one person who bravely tackles the paperwork pileups on a regular basis. We are all very grateful for her thoughtful, careful, thorough and cheery presence!

Debbie Cardew
|
|
Debbie Cardew grew up in London and lived for many years in Cornwall, England. She now lives in nearby Cornish, NH where Saturday mornings will find her selling her delectable Cornish pasties at the local farmer's market. Debbie brings glamor to our office. For example, Debbie has the most beautiful scarves which always look elegant on her. I don't think I have ever managed to make a scarf look anything but functional. Since a flair for clothes has passed me by in this life, I much appreciate Debbie's abilities. On a wintry day when there is nary a flower, there is Deb! Please note how even this photo of Deb at age two reveals how she already had a knack for sartorial splendor!
Debbie lives with two kitties Cleo and Mambo, her husband Ara and children Sophia and Tom. When she is here, she masterfully invoices an enormous quantity of invoices and also spends one day shipping and one day on the phone.

Jane Taupier and I have been friends and neighbors for more than twenty six years. We first met when we were young mothers living in the same boy's dormitory at the school where our husbands worked. Now she lives down the road with her husband Mike, her dogs, cats, and sheep. Jane's two children Erin and Anna grew up with my kids Ben and Lizzy and like them, they have launched themselves into the adult world. It is great to have Jane here!

Yessenia's Daughter Kyra
|
|
Yessenia Araya Mesen: Yessenia joins us from Costa Rica. She met her husband Eric when he was on the Peace Corps in Costa Rica and after almost a decade in Costa Rica together they have moved to New Hampshire where Eric teaches Spanish at Kimball Union. Just as our first taste of Deb was her luscious lemon squares, delivered to us hot from the oven on her first day at the farm, Yessenia's Tres Leches Cake preceeded her to Green Hope Farm. We all agree it was the best cake we ever had. Many a lunch finds us munching down Yessenia's Tamales, Empanadas or one of her many bakery confections. She grew up in a bakery and we are all reaping the benefits of this! This winter was Yessenia and her daughter Kira's first experience with snow. They are still smiling and we are glad because we would hate to lose Yessenia to warmer climes. On her days here, packing orders, she brings much sunshine to the office!
